Dr. Kunal Aneja is an orthopaedic surgeon passionate to treat musculoskeletal skeletal disorders and in harboring a positive change in people’s lives, because life is movement and movement is life. Sub-specialized and trained in complex periarticular Traumatology, Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy.
Dr.Kunal Aneja is a Fellowship-trained Specialist in Hip and Knee Specialist Surgeon with vast experience of 7yrs. After pursuing his Post-graduation in M.S. (Master of Surgery ) Orthopaedics from Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation (S.I.O.R.), Pune, Maharashtra, India, he completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in hip & knee specialist from the prestigious F.A.G.E. (Fellow of Academy of General Education) at Christian Medical College, Manipal University,Karnataka, India.

Orthopaedics was “To assess the functional outcomes and results of radial club hand (Type III and IV) treated with soft tissue distraction and percutaneous centralization” which was an original research work describing a new technique of surgery was approved and later accepted by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (M.U.H.S.).

Selected to be an active participant as a member of the international consensus panel of AO Trauma group in a Delphi process to define a core set of unfavorable events to be documented and evaluated during and after treatment of proximal humerus fractures (PHFx). Aim is to reach international consensus on a structured core set of unfavourable events of PHFx along with definitions, specifications and timing for documentation.

Was awarded with “Bone and Joint Decade (BJD) India NAN Young Research Investigator Award 2015: Orthopaedics & Rheumatology” at BJD India NAN (National Action Networks) CME meeting held at Pune on 18th October 2015 for work on “Percutaneous correction and centralization of Radial Club Hand using Mini External Fixation: A New Concept in Management.”
